  1. The cells were cultivated at a dilution rate of 0.1 h-1. The glucose uptake flux was normalized to 100. The relative enzyme activities in the mutant were normalized by those in the wild type. Enzymes were extracted from the cultured cells and their activities were measured in vitro.
