For various values of A0 and C0 in our complex formation model (B0 = 1000 fixed, and C0<B0<A0), we plot the amount of molecules (per unit volume) saved if we change the concentration of only one component (top to bottom manifolds: A, B, C, respectively), to decrease the concentration of the goal complex ABC by 90%. Decreasing the amount of the most abundant molecule (A) yields the largest gain.
