Effect of time-averaging interval (TAI) on time averaged reaction event rates. The time-averaged event rate data for a single simulation were calculated using various TAIs from 1 to 600 sec for selected reactions. The same random number seed was used for each set of simulations (rnseed = 100). The x-axis is time (sec) and the y-axis is the reaction event rate (number of reaction events per sec).
