Networks with linear activation are graphed in dashed lines while networks with ultrasensitive (US) activation are graphed in solid lines. The bound for the network with ultrasensitive activation and SC is plotted using the formula (6.4) with a = 2 and n = 2. More dramatic results occur with higher values of n.
