Sensitivity analysis of the toy network: Each column of the sensitivity matrix represents a numerical experiment in which one species was perturbed by -25%. The steady-state sensitivities of all model species were computed according to S = (ΔY/ΔP)(Po/Yo). The model predicts that E is positively regulated by A and C but negatively regulated by B and D.
