Predicted effects of a double-reaction inhibition on the in vivo growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The two inhibited reactions were isocitrate lyase (ICL) and glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (G3PD). The growth rates (in units of h-1) were calculated based on flux balance analysis with different upper limits of the fluxes through the two reactions. The upper limits are in unit of mmol/h/gDW, i.e., mmol per hour per gram dry weight of M. tuberculosis.
