A heatmap of the 31 genes whose expression profiles differentiate between MPK407 knockout strain and wild-type by t-test analysis. Analysis was performed using tools available in the TM4 suite of microarray analysis tools [31]. Genes (rows) are listed, from top to bottom, in each of the two panels in the same order that they appear in table 1. Experimental samples (columns) are listed in order of increasing optical density moving from left to right. The optical density for each sample is indicated in the sample name.
