- Core models of the thioredoxin system based on Schemes I and II were created using Michaelis-Menten kinetics for thioredoxin reductase and mass action kinetics for the reduction of PSS and RSS by thioredoxin. To simplify the analysis, all reaction parameters in these models were set to one. The parameters listed in this table were used in the generation of Figures 3 and 5.
