Genes: counts are based on the internal database identifiers and including genes encoding for a component of a protein complex as separate entities. EC numbers: only fully specified EC numbers are counted. Metabolites: counts are based on the internal database identifiers and including instances of metabolite classes for HumanCyc and members of sets for Reactome. Reactions: if reactions only differ in direction and/or compartments they are counted as one.
