  1. 1. N is a number of observed chloroplast (or starch granule) from Transmission electron micrographs. For the granule number analysis, N is a number of observed chloroplast.
  2. 2. Relative Mean Rank was calculated from a ratio of mean rank to total rank and multiplied by 100 when the data was ranked in an ascending order.
  3. 3. The P-value calculated from the Mann–Whitney U test less than 0.05 was shown in bold letters indicating a significant difference of morphological parameters between the mutant and the wild type.
