The lower and left axes represent the life cycle stages and the upper and right axes represent for the GO terms. In gene space we observe a clear projection of the GO terms in the direction of gametocytes and sporozoites. In protein space, GO terms are projected clearly in direction of sporozoites and the intraerythrocytic cycle.
