Steady state protein concentrations are plotted for various values of C Nanog,OS, the binding energy among RNAP II, the OCT4/SOX2 dimer and the Nanog locus. If the binding energy is set by ERK activity through the feedback (14), the system evolves into a steady state (gray symbols) which depends on parameter a, the strength of the feedback.
