Alterations in IGF2R levels did not substantially impact phosphorylation of IGF1R or cell proliferation. a, b Model results predicted that a complete knockdown (a) or a 1.4-fold overexpression (b) of IGF2R in OVCAR5 would not affect pIGF1R. This prediction was consistent with experimental data collected from these conditions. In these experiments, IGF2 was added to fresh serum-free media, and therefore did not contain OVCAR5-secreted IGFBPs. c, d IGF2-induced proliferation was not impacted by knockdown of IGF2R (c) nor a 1.4-fold overexpression of IGF2R (d), p > 0.05
