Panels depict a calculated flux magnitude and b the percent of simulations in which the calculated fluxes were found to be non-significant (with asterisks indicating fluxes calculated to be non-significant using observed data). Simulated data was drawn from a modification of the stoichiometric model described in the Methods section (with balances on NADH and NADPH), constrained by 99 % confidence intervals on fluxes observed at 66 hours post inoculation. 100 balanced flux profiles were generated with 100 random generated sets of measurement error applied to each.
