Shown is another simulation under the same settings as in Fig. 3, but with “trailers” turned on and “show-L?” turned off before the simulation was run. After the simulation was run, “clear-cells” was engaged to remove display of all cells. This results in clear visualization of the trails of the original green cells at the initial scratch line
