We only depicted two proteins, i.e., SMAD3 (one of the five marker proteins) and PTPRS (inhibited protein), to avoid a crowded figure. The status of SMAD3 becomes lower in the PTPRS-inhibited than the atrophic state that indicates the recovery from the atrophic to reference state, which is a condition for a therapeutic target in this study
