The red and the green solid lines show the time profiles predicted by the ODE T and the ODE S , respectively. The upper 4 subplots belong to the 0.4 M. NaCl shock experiment and the lower 4 subplots belong to the 0.5 M. NaCl shock experiment. The glycerol, Hog1 dependent protein (mainly Gpd1p) and mRNA amounts (in μ moles) are in absolute scale whereas we used the normalized phosphorylated Hog1p values. The Hog1p values were normalized to their maximum value measured in the corresponding experiment.
